Lippisch P.20

The P.20 was a further development of the Me 163 target-defense interceptor, in this case powered by a single Jumo 004 turbojet. An air intake set low in the extreme nose was to feed the fuselage-mounted engine, but otherwise the aircraft was very similar in appearance to the Me 163 Komet, with comparable wing span but slightly greater length.

This project, which never left the drawing board, has also been referred to as the Messerschmitt P.20.
