The Ho III h, A Mystery

While a "h" model is reported to exist, neither my brother no I can remember such a tandem two place glider. There is, however, photographic evidence that a "h" existed, and even survived the war! It is possible that the aircraft is a modified "g" model, since its serial number 31 was originally given to a "g".

(The translator, Jan Scott, inspected the "h" at the Paul Garber facility in Washington DC in 1982. It appears that the drag rudders were modified to test the system later used on the Ho IX, thereby changing its designation from a "g" to a "h". Unfortunately, the condition of the wings are such that positive verification was impossible.)
