I hope you can get enough volunteers to finish the english version of your site, information that you give is just the reason  I bought a computer this year.
Fred Young (
I have a Marske flying wing and now I am very interested in a new project. Powered.
Lloyd Watson (
A very very good site. I like it as I like my AV36.
Peter Breitenfelder (
I owned an AV 36 for years and flew it a lot. I sent one story of its flying qualities to Nurflugel. Do yo want me to forward my Fauvel stories ?
Jack Lambie (
I accidently stumbled onto your site surfing the net....and immediately bookmarked it for a return visit--very interesting and informative!!
Dick Feierabend (
Very nice site. Informative, and easy to use - Thanks- Love flying wings - been making and designing slope foamies - Love my "Zagi" and a couple of deltas. Paraglider pilot looking for more speed. Good Luck and Aloha, Glenn
Glenn Schot (
Very comprehensive and great site for a great design. About 15 years ago I was offered a AV-36 in not flightworthy condition. Didn't take it then. Today I'm a glider pilot too and feel sad about this lost opportunity - the plane was scrapped and burnt in the meantime.
Markus Christen (
I like your site. I knew george Jacquemin. He lived in New Zealand for a while. He passed away some 3 years ago. Is it still possible to buy construction plans for aircraft like the Fauvel single seat 60 model. and are the plans available for other types of Charles aircraft. Many thanks
Robin Germon (
I bought an AV36 CR nearly in flying condition. Needs only minor restaurationworks. But what I really need are contacts and addresses to other owners in europe for information exchange. So if you can please help me find some other owners. Thanks
Andi Baumann (
Your site is very well organized and a pleasure to link back and forth with ease. The content has all the things necessary to provide the most information people require.
I have a family of airfoils (the F4FRAS Family) that I developed for the Flying Flea aircraft and I am going to apply them to an all flying wing soon. There is no resemblance between Fauvel's F4 and mine as I rolled the number from F3 to F4 when I added additional points to the airfoil contours for smoothing. The F4FRAS Family have very high lift/drag ratios and very, very low pitching moments that are always slightly positive throughout the angle of attack (a.o.a) range.
Keep up your good work and thank you for allowing me to sign your guest book.
Richard W. Fraser, Fraser Aero Technology Company (
Hello .. It is so refreshing to have access to this site, so refreshing and educational for me. I have a deep desire to know all about flying wings and study them. All my life I have been building model aircrafts since I was a kid and got my private liscence in 64. In 88 build my first homebuild which I put some 106 hours in it and selling it. But I sure would love to build a flying wing in the future , now that I am retired .
Robert G. Bambrick (
I have looked at your site for sometime and I like it. I have been in contact with Falconar Avia in Canada about the AV-361 plans they sell. In addition, I have been in contact with Jean Molveau at He is writing a book about Fauvel and is asking for any pictures or other information about the Fauvel flying wings in the United States. Can any one help him?
Ronald Clemenson (

I am very proud beeing able to say that I flew the AV 36 D-5571 in Dorbaum near Münster/NRW-Germany in 1961 and 1962. No one was ever able to beat me in weak thermals when I was flying our AV 36. Thank you very much for this very informative page. Magnifique ! Bon courage, et merci !!
Jürgen Becker (

My first glider experience was in 1957 at Rouen and Beynes France while in the USAF. Your Vintage web sites are fantastic and to the degree that I am in the process of getting information (plans) for the Emouchet to build for the 2005 Vintage rally at Elmira New York USA. YOUR WEB SITES ARE FANTASTIC, MERCI BEAUCOUP!
Herb Robbins (

To all Fauvel Av 36 owners : Does anybody have plans to change the skid against wheels on the fuselage? There was an Av 36 which was rebuilt as motorglider in Germany. If anybody has information about those things please mail it.
Andreas Baumann (
Very nice site. The AV 36 is an ace machine I would like to build one sometime.
Howard Gray (

A bientôt.
Dominique Gatard - association DEDALE (

Merci Monsieur FAUVEL.
